Pilocereus pachycladus (also known as Pilosocereus azureus) is a columnar, tree-like, branching cactus, best known for its dramatic, silver-blue skin tone. Larger, mature plants produce white, funnel-shaped flowers which bloom at night.

Light: Needs plenty of bright, indirect light and some sun but avoid harsh sunlight as this may scorch the plant if it has not been acclimatised to it.
Water: Allow the soil to begin to dry out before watering. Do not over water or allow the soil to completely dry out.
Temperature: Happy anywhere between 10-27°C but happiest in warm conditions. Avoid cold draughts.
Feed: Feed once or twice a month during the growing season.

Height and Growth Rate: Ultimate height in its native environment is anything up to 10m. When grown indoors it should stay at a manageable height for many years. Fast growing.
